Janell poses with the Vibra Hospital team

Janell Nasser

Following a prolonged ICU stay and life-saving interventions at a traditional hospital, Janell Nasser still faced a steep uphill battle. She remained dependent on a ventilator to breathe, had a chest tube in place, and required significant medical support for everyday tasks.

To continue her recovery, Janell was referred to Vibra Hospital of Denver, a critical care hospital specializing in the treatment of medically complex patients who require extended hospitalization.

Janell was determined to get better, and with the support of Vibra’s interdisciplinary care team, she did just that.

During her stay, Janell weaned from ventilator support and had her chest tube removed. She transitioned off IV medications and gained the strength and stability to begin completing daily activities with minimal supervision. These milestones marked a major step toward reclaiming her independence!

Reflecting on her experience, Janell shared that she most appreciated how welcoming, friendly, and encouraging everyone at Vibra was. When asked about her care team, she said, “Everyone stood out in their own way,” mentioning several names with gratitude.

Now, as she prepares for the next step in her recovery, Janell says she’s most excited about being home with her family. She also shared a heartfelt note of appreciation:

“I’m very grateful that faith brought me to Vibra, and I would recommend it to everyone who needs this type of care.”

Thank you, Janell, for sharing your journey with us. Your determination and optimism have inspired our entire team. We wish you continued success in your recovery!
